DGR- Large Diameter Pipe Single Shaft Shredder

Our DGR series plastic pipe shredders are specifically designed to meet the complex and high throughput applications of the vast plastic pipe recycling markets. These shredders have a high versatility and throughput capability. This plastic pipe recycling system can handle solid wall and corrugated pipe up to 20 feet long. Different models can be used for different size pipe. From small plastic pipe to 48" pressure pipe, our DGR can handle capacities over 5,000 pph. It is also possible to shred many different types and sizes of pipe with these plastic pipe shredders. We utilize a PLC to control to shredder and tie the capacity into the downstream granulator for optimum efficiency. This rugged shredder has been proven to continually produce high output capacity and stand up to punishing plastic pipe recycling applications. DGD – Heavy Duty Twin Shaft Shredder

Our DGD series twin shaft shredders are designed and built for some of the most challenging recycling applications out there. The rugged design, replaceable wear protection and extremely high torque rotors all result in high pre-shredding throughputs. This shredder is a workhorse and has proven itself by standing up to demanding recycling applications and environments such as appliance pre-shredding, tire recycling, waste paper and plastics shredding and various other rubber and electronics applications. The chamber is protected by wear plates and the replaceable cutters are made of wear resistant steel to fit the application.

PolyPlex PPC 50/120 Shredder-Granulator

The new shredder-granulator, “Polyplex” designed, patented and made by Hosokawa Alpine is the latest in our innovative recycling solutions for plastic markets. Our Polyplex shredder-granulator combines a vertically arranged shredder rotor with a granulator rotor for single-step size reduction. The principle is amazingly unique and revolutionary: The material is fed to the shredder by means of a feed trough and hydraulic ram. This allows feed material lengths of up to 6 meters. This feed is then shredded and granulated to the perfect regrind size for use or processing. We use a screen to control the final size which can range from 6 mm on up. The feed rate is controlled via closed-loop current monitoring to maximize system capacity. As a result of the combination of shredder and granulator, the comparatively small machine can process, for example, machine purgings of up to several hundred kilos together with profiles, pipes, film, blow-molded parts and many other materials and parts. In combination with our dedusting systems, the system is compact, extremely efficient and will produce clean, uniform and dust-free regrind.
